See Yourself
In these times of virtual connection, you see your face reflected back at you. It’s much like a mirror. Are you comfortable with your own reflection?
Do you judge what you see? Or do you send love to your reflection on the virtual call?
How do you love yourself? Do not judge, embrace what you see, for it is truly you.
Do you observe your body language or facial responses when talking or listening? Have curiosity, they create ‘aha’ moments. Awarenesses that you never observed before. They are not right or wrong, they just are. 93% of communication is nonverbal.
What are they telling you? What’s is it telling others? Are you surprised? It’s interesting how the body reveals your true reactions and emotional state. It’s a reflection of how we appear to others and the world.
Is that the message you want others to see or feel? If it is, that’s perfect. If it isn’t, then you have the power to change. Practice doing videos or looking into a mirror. You will receive feedback immediately. This is the time you truly get to know yourself.
Stop and observe. Are you feeling things that you’re not acknowledging? Connect and listen to what your body is telling you. There is a message here. What messages do you truly want to say and how do you want to feel and respond?
Ask yourself the why(s) has my face responded to what I said or what others have said. Observing is most important, it just might be what you wanted to reveal to others. Watch their reactions also.
Virtual connections give you opportunities to embrace and love who you reflect to the world. To look beyond the physical and connect to internal. A time for true reflection. An opportunity to really see yourself when you interact with others.
Create a whole new way to participate in meetings, workshops, coaching sessions, etc. Look beyond you, observe what you see and feel from others.
Accept and embrace YOU!
Celebrate what you see.
Love your reflection.
Have gratitude for your face, your hair, your smile, your words.
Know you are whole and complete.
